Are tech companies like Apple, Youtube, Facebook and Spotify denying Alex Jones’ Infowars the right to free speech?

Apple, Facebook, Youtube and Spotify ban Alex Jones's InfowarsApple, Facebook, Youtube and Spotify ban Alex Jones's Infowars

Alex Jones’s Infowars news organization, which some will call fake or real, is being assaulted by tech companies like Apple, Youtube, Facebook, and Spotify for disseminating content deemed for violating their community guidelines.  They have gone on to ban Alex Jones’s Infowars from their sites.

Of course, Alex Jones will deny this and says that his critics are silencing him because he is providing an alternative to the mainstream media.  Infowars has quite a following on these social media platforms ranging into the tens of thousands and provides Alex Jones and his company with a platform to express their voice.

While this is true that alternative news has gained more acceptance to the counter the mainstream media groupthink usual message, there are repercussions that some of this alternative news might actually harm public social harmony.

Due to the recent Russian interference in the last US election, these social media tech companies are taking the heat as they are blamed for what had gone wrong with the election as result of Donald Trump’s victory.  Whether Donald Trump’s presidential win was actually a result of the Russian tempering we will never truly know despite the Democrats all pointing to this scenario.

As we all know America likes to tell the world that it is the land of free speech, but by banning Alex Jones’s Infowars, has America become more hypocritical than ever?
